Yes, there was a completely sealed battery inside which made it really easy to gut. An Odyssey PC925 fit with no problems. Just had to lengthen the existing cables to reach the new terminal locations (terminal-side down). You might be able to make it work without lengthening the cables by putting the terminal-side up, but it gets tight in there and it may be difficult to make the connection.
