Yeah it doesn't seem like it is hard work just tedious. I can see how pulling the dash harness out would make changing the connector easier but I really don't want to add more work of removing and reinstalling dash harness. Once my connector is done, I have to re wire the entire engine bay with a new harness. Also changing battery cables, ground straps etc all at this same time. It's a 67 440 but I am upgrading it with the dual field alternator and 70's style regulator. Also think I shouldndonthe ammeter bypass while I have it all apart.
