Is a line lock a one way check valve or a soleniod
that stops the fluid my car was set up with the line lock on the rear wheels it works great but my buddy says it is wrong should be on the front?

Its actually both(most), its a solinoid that closes
but it also has a pressure limit that if you go
higher than the limit it will let off some of that
pressure. I prefer them on the front for my burnout
process, other than that I dont use it
Also, alot of the designs allow you to push fluid
past the valve in 1 direction while the valve is
engaged/on, so if you have the valve hooked to the
rears and you press the brake pedal you might be
applying pressure to the rears and not know it
