i used to see my 15 psi oil light come on at the very end of the braking area. the engine was idling so it wasn't really a problem but with the accumulator the pressure never drops below 35 psi now & thats reassuring if nothing else. it's generally 3 weekends between race meetings for me so the prelube function is also piece of mind stuff. since i fitted my accumulator my bearings have looked like they could go again even tho i swap in newbies every rebuild. oil is insurance as far as i'm concerned, can never have too much.
