I have the Lokar kit and I want to stick with it. I know Bouchillon has their version which is supposedly better but I don't want to pay 125$ for that right now...please don't suggest that.

The issue I am running into now is I can adjust to the point where the tranny kicks down at WOT but then the tranny won't upshift from 2nd to 3rd at light throttle until I let off the gas entirely. If I adjust it the other direction to the point where the tranny shifts properly at part throttle, it isn't far enough to kick down at all when at WOT.

I have read that you can make the ratio more correct by drilling the lever inward a bit to re-locate the stud thereby reducing the ratio.

Can somebody give me a rough idea how far in I should drill to move the stud in? I know this isn't an exact science but I don't want my lever to turn to swiss cheese doing this!

Any ideas would be appreciated. You can use my photo and make a dot where it worked for you maybe? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif" alt="" />

PS carb is a Holley 4150.

Not a great picture. I took a old throttle pressure lever and mounted it onto my linkage. I can now slide my pivot point up or down to get the stroke right. Might not look so great but works for me.

Better picture.
