stat5 enthusiast S Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 357 St. Paul, MN	That M-5digit number is stamped into the block. I looked the block over and did not see any other stamped numbers. On the block I looked at it was stamped in the drivers side front of the block on a machined surface right around the corner from where the oil pump mounts. I got a picture of it if interested What does the follow alpha/numeric number that is cast into the block mean? 7A16
