I remember when I built one some time ago I started by using s10 shocks mounting style was the same but it was quite a bit shorter.

The truck they went on appears lower than yours as well.

I tried that, thinking, of course that Camaro, etc would be shorter ... but they are not appreciably shorter, the S10 shock for instance, is about a tenth of an inch shorter compressed, same length extended, and has about .2 more travel.

While it isn't rigid at rest now, the slightest travel bottoms the shock.

I'm getting used to riding a pogo on the concrete road segments and bridge joints, but wishing for something better in the ride dept.

I sure hate to raise it, but maybe I can tolerate a little nose bleed height.
