I reused the trim at bottom of wall/floor transition. Top of carpet I bought trim at home depot in the flooring dept. where I got the linoleum.

Yes it is carpet glue that comes in 2-3gal buckets. Apply glue to area with notched trowel, then I would stick the carpet on and staple the top edge to prevent any movement while glue sets up. Apply trim.
