Has anyone had difficulty fitting the MP cross ram setup using Indy Heads, (I am using the 440-C Indy head) under the hood of a 63 Dodge. The front carb air horn seems to be above the hood line. I have Indy's dual plane max wedge intake on it now with an 850 cfm carb and had to use an ultra low profile Moroso air cleaner to fit under the hood.
From some of the real max wedge cars that I have seen - the manifold surface seems lower down in the engine bay.
I can trim the carb levers to remove the spacers, but do I need to shim the K frame, I heard this used to be done back in the day!

Thanks
Steve R
