direct bolt in.
you only need the spindles and stuff attached to it. you can reuse your old upper and lower ball joints and the a-arms.

I would probably take the proportioning valve.
the booster will interfere with column shift too, but it will bolt in.
you just won't be able to get into low.

you can use the original drum one, but it doesn't supply enough boost, plus the master won't have a big enough resevior for the discs.
you can stop, just not lock them up.
