Ok I missing the boat here ! if you weld them LCA like that pic..how do the control arms move up and down ??
The part you see welded is the adjuster that is no longer used once the torsion bar is eliminated. The weld just keeps what's left of the adjuster from moving around. I have whacked them off as close as possible then welded just for cosmetic purposes. Has nothing to do with the movement of the LCA.
