Having run, and still run a stick shift car, I can tell you that radials won't work too well. If the car hooks, then breaks the tires loose, the shocks are extending too fast. You must slow this down by adjusting them to a higher number. When I race, mine are either on 8 or 9. With that being said, don't expect good short times with the radials. Go to a slick or street slick and you'll be much happier with performance.
