And if the new Hemi had a carburetor that one could unbolt, that'd probably work.

Maybe pulling the intake manifold now is the best way to go.

The whole engine doesn't weigh as much as a LA motor, it's like 100lb lighter. That may make it easier to find sufficient strength. Four 5/16" (8mm) bolts in tension will support it many times over. Heck, one could probably go to 6mm bolts (1/4").

Somewhere yesterday on this board I saw a picture of a lifting bracket that attached at the exhaust manifold bolts.

I hope someone has a better answer than this one.
