Chris..........since you run your car N/A and I am assuming the timing somewhere around 32 degrees, to phase the rotor simply roll the motor by hand until the timing pointer is resting at 32 degrees. Now pop the cap off the dist, turn the body until the rotor tip is pointing at number 1 terminal. That's it, lock it down. Rotor phased and ready to go. All timing adjustments will be made on the crank and you won't have to move the dist again.
