The past couple a friend of mine and I got from the u-pull-it, came off of 2wd trucks. So the factory was obviously concerned enough to put them on there also. Inspect them where the strut meets the frame plate. We have seen the strut start to crack just past where they are welded. Some guesseting would be a good idea before install.
