Judging by the wear on the shaft itself I'd say that you used a factory bushing and didn't use the special tool to burnish it - which expands the bushing to the proper clearance. Instead of a Mopar bushing, use a Pioneer one which you can just press in with no additional burnishing required.

Check your dizzy for end play - how much the shaft moves up and down. Now install the dizzy and see if you still have that same movement. If not, then that's the issue ... the dizzy is putting pressure on the bushing. If the endplay is still there then the smart thing to do is pull the intake and valley cover and see how much play you have between the two - more than about .010" is not desirable and you'll want to put a collar at the base of the dist shaft to limit the play. And use red Loctite on the collar screw - you don't need that sucker falling out!!
