must be a washington term. if you're worried about them breaking the window, why not leave it unlocked? i fish at a lot of remote spots in florida, and if the bandits want in, their going to break in. i leave my doors unlocked, since there's nothing of value inside. have they ever been inside? i don't know, but i did have a window broken once before, even though nothing of value was inside. i learned that lesson, the hard way.

that being said, i've never seen anything that's just a window screen. headache bars are great, but probably won't work with your topper/shell/cap/canopy. expanded metal could be cut into a window shape, and have a frame added, then bolt it to the front of the cap/topper/shell/canopy. this would likely result in your truck side window being broken out, if a thief really wants in.
