4.10s would be better, as long as he has headers and a good intake and carb yes. It will have a pretty lopey idle and it will be a screamer.

It should be good cam for a mid to high 11 second time slip, if he's not fussy and doesn't want a stock idle it'll work. If he really just wants a crusier I'd go smaller. Any idea on the LSA? I'm assuming 108.
