I think improvements will happen by getting rid of that cam. It's tiny for a 416( I used to run that cam in a 416 and it wasn't a 10 sec combo with eddies.

Here is the exact combo I built to go 10.74 at 3450 pounds and drove around constantly.
A body( all steel, bench seat, 6 point roll bar, 300 pound driver)

4.10 gear( 28 inch tire)
8 inch Ptc convertor, 4900 flash
70.. 340 block 30 over, Mopar 4 inch cast crank, Ross pistons , eagle h beam rods
11.7 compression
Edelbrock heads, " stage 2 " ported by Hensley, went 274@ 600 peak.
Gasket matched weiand excellerator intake, unported
1025 race demon 4150 style carb
Tti 1 5/8 to 1 3/4 step headers with flow master mufflers
Comp cams flat tappet cam 107 LSA installed at 104, 598/ 623 lift, 260/ 266 duration @ 50.
I think this combo would have easily went 10.50's with a roller, but I was happy with it as it was and drove the heck out of it.
I called comp and we ended up going with the above cam, and it obviously made good power, but thereafter, every combo I have run I have ALWAYS called Dwayne Porter and had him spec the cam. He is a comp dealer and in my opinion is the best person I have ever dealt with to make the correct cam choice.
