My '70 Super Bee tail light bezels need to be rechromed... they aren't very blistered.... does this metal rechrome ok? What is the going rate on a couple of parts like these?
ALSO... one of the bezels has 3 studs broken off. Other than JB Weld, is there a better way of fabbing/repairing the studs?
Essentially, the question is: Should I jack with it or just spend the $325 on a repop set from BE&A?
Save yourself the grief,.....buy a set from Mike Ross, at BEA.......pot metal repair is $$$$$$$ just for surface work, nevermind stud repair, plus a lot of platers usually ask you one question when dealing with pot, "do you have spares?".......cause in the process of de-electroplating the old plating off to prep the peice, sometimes the peice "dissolves" in the tank!
after spending a lot of money on pot metal repair with mediocre results I strongly suggest BE&A or whoever has them
