If you are running, for example, a 7" rim with those 275's, a 10" rim may give you your clearance to no longer rub. Of course, it may not and unless you can test fit before you buy you may spend money you needn't have. Supercuda, I think you mean the other way around. A narrow rim will result in a narrower section width.
