It is, he would need an 18/71 for that many cubes or a screw blower. It's not efficient for performance. I am sure he is more than happy with the power it has.




Just seems to me to be an awful lot of motor for "only" 1200 horse.

Maybe I've just been spending too much time on Yellowbullet where every 5.0 or LS motor makes 3000.




My goal is 1500 but also want to putt around town to the cruise-ins and it will only see around 6500-7000rpm. As I talk to more people and do more research I might decide to drop down to 540" but would need to get a new crank. This is all part of the learning process.




1500 will be all too easy to make with a blown Hemi, especially with a 14-71. The torque your motor will make will be mind boggling
