That would depend on what results you want for YOUR box. The metal parts are natural so I bead them first, rub them down with 0000 steel wool then clear them. You could also use Seymour stainless color paint. In some cases I plate them for longer durability. The black parts are sprayed with T3 Hot rod from Plastikote. The housings are cleared with satin clear.
