I second the motion on the after market block...But at only 700hp, we make more than that on pump gas with a NA RB at 512 cubes...I would do a low deck 400 with a girdle and -500 cubes...Should make a ton of HP, problem being, the 6-71, so a non-stroked RB would be the ticket if your only using a 6-71...Is it a high end 6-71, or a plain jane one?
Friend of mine runs 4.70 with a blown RB in a Dart like a bracket car...but not with a 6-71....
