1956 to 1964 Mopars had pushbutton shifters except the later cars that came with console shifters. The Powerflyte was the only automatic trans for the 1956, Chrysler and Imperials included !957 was the first year of the 727, cast iron case and a seperate bell housing I'm not sure what year was the last one for the Powerflyte tranny to be used in, maybe 1959 My 1959 Coronet had a the stock pushbutton shifter for the two speed Powerflyte, D,L,N and R not in that order though
