The crankshaft flange length and converter are different from 1962 and later than the pre 1962 cars. I had a 1959 Coronet, it had a 326 C.I. motor (one year only ) that was identicle to the same year 318 in the Plymouths, my Dodge had a two speed Powerflyte trans in it If you want to use that motor in that car plan on using a later moddle 727 or 904 automatic instead of the early cast iron case Torkflyte or Powerflyte trans
