One of the better running combo's I have seen was a stock stroke 360.
3200 pound 71 cuda, 727 trans, 8 inch convertor, stock eddies, 525/305 comp hydraulic cam, race demon, about 12 to 1 compression with 1 7/8 headers.
ran 10.90's at 121/122 or so, thought that was impressive at that weight with unported heads and a hydraulic camshaft.
