VHT 1500 Ceramic. Pretty good stuff for rattle can.

I have eventually had problems with all the coatings on all my headers including Hooker's ceramic coating.

With one exception; CCP Coatings out of Michigan. It looked different out of the box. Slicker and shinier than any of the others, more like what I think ceramic should look like. All the others looked somewhat duller and rougher in texture.

CCP is all I intend to use in the future.

One thing I always do on start-up is to have a cheap Harbor Freight laser temp gun in hand. I use it for more than the headers.





What color did you use?



Silver. They are easily the best looking coated headers I have ever had. But then that isn't saying much.

Your coating just looks slicker and smoother than the other company's coatings I have had. And that includes Hooker's, which lasted all of 5 years or so.

And CCP thought that the shipping back to me was too high. So they re-boxed the headers to save some size and saved me several dollars of shipping. Without being asked to.
