yes, a couple different ways. My a500 is behind a 383. TranzTech in Dubuque IA did mine, he lops off both bellhousings, and has a jig to weld the BB727 one to an adapter that then bolts to the OD tranny. OEM shifter and kickdown linkage as well as starters all work exactly as they should doing it this way.
The other method of using a spacer/adapter can cause issues.




What's an estimate for the cost of that ? I have a 47RE with a warped bellhousing from a truck fire that I'd like to put behind a big block at some point .

I guess if i was board it wouldn't be hard to make a jig though ...




Not sure what pieces of the job would cost out at (he was very reasonable for the whole turn key job in my Fury though).
