is this a 5.2/5.9? or 4.7? I don't remember when they ditched the 5.2

if you have a 4.7 I can't help, because I have no clue.

if you have a 5.9, then yes, you can "short belt" it and bypass the AC. however, it's not as simple as just buying a non-AC belt. For some reason, dodge changed the position of the idle pulley between the AC and non-AC brackets, and the factory non-AC belt won't work, but there is a belt that does work (I just don't remember the length off the top of my head)
