I searched our local salvage yard looking for 1/2 ton 5on5.5 front disc brakes ( found a 2001 ford triton 4x4 )has a bigger center hub . So with the stock hubs and bearings on the stock spindles ( with old drums removed) I turned down the outside edge of the stock hub( on the same brake lathe that I turned the rotors on) enough to fit in the new 5 on 5.5 rotors and put them on . Then attach the caliper and bracket see where they line up compared to the attaching point at the backing plate bolts ( with backing plate removed from front axel) make a plate adapter out of 3/8 ish plate steel and I will be done maybe a mopar performance proportioning valve. When I get it all on I will let you know how it works .......also the brake assemble I pulled off the 2001 furd was a bosch system so it is not real furd it was just the salvage yard contaner where they keep the rest of the fords
