Once you price stuff, the new crank, forged pistons & etc., it's either go KB's w/cast crank and prep'd factory LY rods or the stroker big block kit as mentioned.

If you must have a forged crank, there's always some in the Moparts Classifieds.




dont waste a forged crank to swing around stock connecting rods,they would be the weak link-there are many 450 horse smallblocks with cast cranks running around.im in yelm wa and if you want ill take 100 plus your cast crank for my 413 industrial that needs polishing(slight surface rust)
