I have done one with a one piece fiberglas frontend. I bought a kit from Chassis Engineering. It was a cut to fit deal with plates that were pop rivited and then glassed to the front end. Tubing was welded between the plates and the pivot mounted to the frame. It was pretty straight forward with the glass front end. I would think it would need to be more substantial if you are using steel fenders and hood.

Here is a variation, on the same thing. This one pulls forward, then tilts. That way the bottom of the front fenders don't come into contact with the doors.
