I just had the same Problem on a RR i just bought,Mine was adjusted as far as it would go and still had room to go on the tranny and no more adjustments thru the carb linkage! What i had to do is pull the rod that clips on to the Trans kickdown lever and Bend the rod a little to give it some more rearward travel to the linkage and is working great now! Might have been wrong linkage on mine i don`t know for sure!
