It looks like you might have your bottom arm on linkage in a bind.I found on mine just a couple of splines different one way or the other makes a Big different. If I were you I would make a bracket and raise my throttle cable up more level with the bottom arm on your bracket and adjust from their.
I don't have a real good picture of this but maybe this will help and hopefully you will be able to see how my throttle cable is more level where it is more of a straight pull.

PS after looking at the picture I posted and looking at yours,if you could turn you bottom arm on linkage down to the bottom like mind that might make it more lever with it and solve your problem with out having to try and raise your throttle cable.
