ifin it was mine to fix...
I have fixed many like this by striping all the stock crap out and run a points dist with a pertronix points conversion.
by-pass BR for full 12 volts to the coil,unplug the ecu and all the other crap tape the plugs up and tuck it all behind the fender brace so it looks like this.
that will only leave the alt/VR/feild/Batt wires,only thing on the fender is the stater relay.(which i just had to fix the alt batt wire at the firewall plug,it kept blowing headlights and smokeing alts on the 85 truck.)
