Yeah, just for clarity; I have no doubt that some cars came with black screens....I just don't think it had anything to do with the V21 stripes. We've seen survivor pics now showing all four:

- V21 AG with black screens
- V21 AG with red screens
- non V21 AG with black screens
- non V21 AG with red screens.

That would seem to indicate that the screen color was independant of the hood stripe option IMO.

And I believe the main reason we do not see more cars with black screens today is that previous owners did what I did in about 1980...
