I have 70 Duster with a front end issue that is perplexing me. First some history of the car, total restoration 10 years ago, total suspension rebuild, at the time of restoration. Over the winter we swapped in manual steering unit in place of the power unit. Now the car pulls very hard to the left. I took the car in for an alignment at a professional shop and all parts check out good and alignment is dead on. Car drives fine until I put the pedal down hard or hit a bump. It seems when the front end comes up the alignment is off and pulls real hard to the left. After car sits awhile the alignment is good again. I've been driving this car for over 10 years with no problems. Anyone any thoughts, I'm guessing torsion bars.
