I use the Indy dual plane on my 493. The eng has only been in the car since last summer and the dual plane is the only intake I have tried. But I love it as the car has very nice low end grunt. Its a street/strip car and has run 10.70's so far on pump thru the pipes but I plan to work on some tuning this year and maybe get my hands on a bigger carb to try. I also run a standard Holley 850 DP and was thinking I need more carb as I had to jet it up alot from the old 440 combo I use to run and I mean alot as it wants alot of fuel. But it went faster with more fuel and I am not done yet. I would love to try a Dominator on my 63 with the dual plane and the single plane to see which it likes better.

As for my throttle cable I use the Lokar setup and it works great. And it is so simple to set up. You dont need any throttle bracket other then what they give you. It bolts on the back carb stud and the return spring also hooks to it. Works good for me and is very simple. Ron
