I just had finished the rebuild of a 440 Magnum for a friend of mine and before it was run for the first time he bought a set of ported 906's and wanted to have them on the motor. I had used steel shim head gaskets and thought to reuse them by spraying a new coat of Mopar red gasket sealant on them, but some fellows had told to this friend that the steel shim gaskets can't be reused. How is it by your experiences, can they be reused or not and if I am reusing them is there an increased risk of head gasket leakage?
