I had problems with one rod cap on the only set of Oliver steel billet rods that I bougt and used, also had problems the ARP L19 rod bolts they sent with them The one rod problem was that the bearing retaining tang in the rod was not machine correctly for the rod bearing tab to fit into properly, I was very lucky to catch it Oliver paid for the overnight Fed Ex and corrected it at thier expence but at $150.00 each I expect them to be perfect to start with The rod bolt problem was that they mixed up the bolts from two different batches and there was 25 lbs difference in torque to get them to stretch the same
Crower cranks are outstanding according to everyone I know(all three racers ) that have used them, they are on the high end of the market, just like Bryant, LA Billet and the other good company in CO, Winberg Which type crank are you wanting to use, forged or billet? Either way there is usually a two to twelve week waiting period from time of the order to delivery
