Callies stuff is great until the snout decides to break off and launch a balancer through the hood. Well at least the alternator saved it from going through hood.



Did you figure out why it broke? Bad balancer, wrong balancer?

Yes, bad steel forging of foreign materials. BTW, very common problem. Balance job was good, no sign of detonation on main bearings or rod bearings, lower belt crank pulley had enough chamfer to seat against front counterweight.
