Ed the SS/AH cars use the honda journal so no problem there. The LS1 boys used that type of sleeveing on the stock LS1 block before big bore aftermarket blocks were available. It is a reliable but expensive process. Run it buy Mr. Porter an see what he says. I think it is possible and so does my engine builder.
