With the old 446".I didn't run an alternator. It was a pain charging between rounds. I put one on and wish I would have done it sooner! I am a believer in the fact that a fully charged battery is best for the MSD ignition. Don...I have a Mezeire water pump. I like that better than the old Moroso,seems to cool quicker!
