Take off the valve covers one at a time & let it idle & press straight down on each rocker arm (the lifter end) with a wooden hammer handle & see if the noise changes (lessens) on any of em. That'll ID the bad one(s) EDIT but since changing the gaskets eliminated some do you think there could still be some gasses leaking as header flanges are notoriously not flat/even. Can you spray some water up in/around them & see if you hit something
