If you have somebody helping you, you can just use a regular floor jack. 1 guy operates the jack and helps support the trans on the jack, and the other guy supports the trans. Once its all the way down, take it off the jack and slide it out the front of the car. Thats how I always have done it, but by myself, I would just use a trans jack. Not that I cant lift the weight, just dont want to. Ohh and if your a bigger framed guy chances are that you and the trans wont fit under the car and you will have to roll it off your chest anyways. That may not be a nice feeling
