I dropped the pan on the 340 in my GTS many years ago. Unbolt the motor mounts and raise the engine (I seem to recall putting a 2x4 under each mount). I cannot remember if I undid the pitman arm and idler arm or not, but probably.




Same here , lift the engine and I remember pulling the centerlink .




same here I did it in the 68Dart with a 73 k frame,droped the header on both sides and pull pass side all the way out,then the whole tie rod/center linke came out,then raised engine,droped oil pump/pick up into the pan,removed pan.I may even had to roll the throws on the crank to walk it out.
