If you have a Factory Service Manual which shows the Speed Control wiring schematics, it's not too difficult to set up on any other similar era Mopar.

You can even grab most of the parts from a late '80s M-body if you don't want to mess with a trans sensor. Mount the servo in the engine compartment, run two speedo cables-- one from the trans to the servo, the second from the servo to the speedo head, and connect/run the wires. You'll need a different brake light switch with four wires, and if you're installing it on a manual trans vehicle, you'll probably want to add a clutch switch too, which the factory never offered.

I think using a factory setup is the easiest and cleanest looking installation method if you want to retain the factory look. The trick is finding a good, working servo.
