Yeah, I figured if I was going to take the time to do the math, I would share it over there to.

It is a topic that always seems to pop up, and no one ever seems to put concrete numbers behind the topic. Looking at the kits on Art Morrison's website, yeah the chromo is 2x the price of the same MS kit.

That being said, it is only $320 more. Shipping is cheaper too. The price of an installed MS cage can vary more that $320 from chassis shop to chassis shop. MR. P has a good point too. I just spent over $300 for a set of fiberglass bumpers which saved me 50lbs.

There is nothing wrong with a MS cage either, I just don't like seeing chromo getting shot down from a cost point of view when the cost difference isn't as huge as most people make it out be.
