i spun a bearing ,can the rod be resized or is it junk, it doesn't look black but it did get warm
I have had spun rods magged, resized and I reused them, that was a long time ago when racing money was really tight, houes payments, two kids in a christain school on a single income. I wouldn't do that now because to do it right you need to get the other seven resized so you can get the rod lengths within .002 of each other i have sen stock rods vary .008 in lengths in the same motors, must have been Monday or Friday motors don't forget that the heat treat is toast also so throw that expence into the decision making process BTW, what type and brand rod?
